The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras is collaborating with the Instituto de Fomento Region de Murcia through the Erasmus for young entrepreneurs with the aim of improving their business management lumbrerenses a second language and increase their training in companies in other EU countries Europe.
The Columbus project is based on the coordination, support, matching and practical introduction of entrepreneurs in the municipality in other organizations of the European Union.
With this initial idea, the program will offer 14 new entrepreneurs the opportunity to work for a period of up to 6 months with an SME entrepreneur in another EU country.
The main objective of this initiative is the acquisition of entrepreneurial skills in the management and development of SMEs through an experienced entrepreneur in the host country.
In addition, the program includes learning effectiveness in planning, financial management and operational development of innovative products and services and successful practices in sales and marketing.
"We want the municipality entrepreneurs are able to increase the competitiveness of their businesses.
Experience in one of 11 European companies attached to the program will increase the business skills of entrepreneurs lumbrerenses, "said Councilman Business, Employment and Development David Ginés Piñero.
Entrepreneurs also have the opportunity to train in European trade law and European single market, will own monthly financial assistance, medical insurance and business plan the company during his stay in Europe.
"This business initiative is essential for economic growth and create jobs today, as businesses acquire the necessary skills and achieve greater reach Europe from the business standpoint," said David Ginés Piñero.
On Thursday March 26 will present the program in Puerto Lumbreras with an initial session to be held in the Local Development Centre from 18:00.
In the first day attended by all county entrepreneurs interested in this business exchange with the European Union.
