The City Council of Guilds of Puerto Lumbreras has presented the poster of the 2009 Easter this year shows the image of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno in the Via Crucis on Good Friday in Puerto Lumbreras.
The presentation ceremony was attended by the Mayor of the municipality, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, members of the local corporation, representatives of the City Council of Guilds and the parish priest of Our Lady of the Rosary Church.
During the presentation, participated Bands Drums and Bugles of the confraternities of the Holy Christ of Faith and the Brotherhood of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno.
It has also announced the herald of Easter this year, which will be the president of the Association of Performing Arts Flares, Carmen Martínez.
The Proclamation of Easter 2009 will be held on April 5 in the parish church of Nuestra Señora Virgen del Rosario de Puerto Lumbreras after Palm Sunday mass.
On the other hand, Sergio Soler, president of the council of Puerto Lumbreras Pasionarias Guilds and president of the Brotherhood of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno and the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sanchez have signed the agreement whereby the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras is a total of 36,000 Euros to the fraternities of the municipality.
