The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has launched a cookery course for beginners for a male audience.
Through the council's Equal Opportunities, this initiative has been organized to teach the lumbrerenses the development of healthy and simple dishes.
The training course is included in the Healthy Habits program has been launched in the municipality and also included several presentations and educational offerings that support the development of activities related to the good habits that promote health.
"Since the City Council and have organized several advanced cooking classes in which women participated.
Following these initiatives, we have received demand for men to organize an introductory course to the kitchen with the aim of subsequent sessions may register other art practices, "said the Councillor for Equal Opportunities, Lina Gázquez.
The course, based on cooking for beginners learning and the development of basic dishes and healthy, is being developed for the entire month of March at the Restaurant La Rambla and consists of five sessions, with a total of 10 hours.
Lumbrerense Chef, Manuel Rodriguez, is responsible for training nearly two dozen men who have signed up to this initiative.
