The municipality has invested 34,092 euros in order to provide better drinking water supply in an area that will benefit more than one hundred people
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has completed the replacement and upgrading works on the network of water supply in the rural area of Camino Viejo de Puerto Lumbreras.
The performances, conducted by the Department of Works and Environment and the company responsible for water supply in the municipality, Aqualia, account for increased water flow through the replacement of 800 feet of pipe in place on the Road old Puerto Lumbreras.
The works, which have been developed throughout the month of March, have had a budget of 34,092 euros and have involved the installation of a poliutireno pipe diameter of 90 mm.
"The new facility replaces a facility in diameter and lower flow rate in order to provide an optimal supply in the area," said Councilman Works and Environment Eliseo Sánchez.
