The Governing Council has given approval to an agreement between the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration and the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras for the construction of a Comprehensive Care Centre for Dependent Persons in this county.

To build the center, which will be located on the street of the town's Lemon and have an area of almost 1,500 square meters, the Community will provide 300,000 euros and the state 1.1 million, bringing the total project amount 1.4 million euros.
