The town of Puerto Lumbreras will host the next 15, 16 and 17 May Championship Adapted Cycling Spain involving more than a hundred athletes from all over the country.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, presented the championship along with general sports director, Antonio Peñalver, and the director general of People with Disabilities, Marisol Morente.
The presentation was also attended by the director general of the Spanish Cycling Federation, Jose Griñán, the president of the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia, José López Tortosa, President of the Cycling Club Ginés García, Juan Miguel Cuenca and Vice President of the Sports Federation of the Physically Disabled in the Region of Murcia, Jesus Eleuterio.

On Saturday 16 sporting events will start from 9.30 am with the individual race against the different channels, and Sunday will continue the road touring championship.
The tests are divided into modes depending on the type of defects will be two tours in Puerto Lumbreras, the first of them has a distance of 17 kilometers, and the second with 8 kilometers.
The tests will both tandems of ONCE, as with physical disabilities in four categories according to disability (LC1, LC2, LC3, LC4), and cerebral palsy by bike (D3 and D4) as a tricycle (D1 and D2 .)
In addition, the championship includes HandCycling mode in which athletes participate in three-wheeled bicycle manuals.
The competition ends Sunday with the medal ceremony and jersey.
Participants in the Championship of Spain Cycling Adapted medalists highlight Vicente Arzo, Juan Méndez, Javier Otxoa or Roberto Alcaide.
The competition will involve more than a hundred athletes who have physical disabilities, cerebral palsy or visual impairments.
