The town of Puerto Lumbreras has received over the weekend Championship Adapted Cycling Spain in which more than a hundred athletes from all over the country, including medalists have highlighted Beijing Paralympic Games and Adapted Cycling World Championships.

This championship was the perfect combination of effort, equal opportunities and improvement.

The Real Spain Cycling Federation has taken the promotion of these sporting events, which have gone on to become more competition within the national cycling.

The championship, organized by the Cycling Club Ginés García, in collaboration with the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, has had individual time sporting events at different circuits, while during the closing day of today have taken the road test route.

The tests are divided into modes depending on the type of deficiencies and have made two trips, the first one with a distance of 17 kilometers, and the second with 8 kilometers.
Among the winners, road racing, Joaquín López has won gold in the men's tandem, while Lopez and Ana Beatriz Escribano have achieved the highest distinction in the female category.
The tournament has also had evidence of physical disability in four categories according to disability (LC1, LC2, LC3, LC4), which have achieved gold medals José Diego Cobacho - rider from Murcia - Amador Granado, and Juan Antonio García José Méndez.
The road tests also included the category of cerebral palsy in which have been leaders, among others, Aitor Oroza, Ricardo Moreno, Javier Ochoa and Rafael medalist Garcon.
