The municipality held tomorrow, Tuesday July 7 Independence Day with an Institutional Act to be delivered in the distinctions that recognize the work of institutions and citizens in favor of Puerto Lumbreras.
Puerto Lumbreras held last night the traditional tribute to the greatest, one of commemorative events included in Cultural Nogalte 2009 and developed by the municipality on the occasion of Independence Day to be held tomorrow, Tuesday, July 7.
In this 2009 edition, the special celebrations were for María Jesús García Hernández and Pedro Molina Salas, both 95 years old.
Both lumbrerenses, born in 1914, received several gifts and a commemorative plaque made them the most over the town with numerous citizens and government team members attended the traditional tribute.
According to Senior Councillor, Gloria Matilde Garcia, "it is a memorial we do with our older every year and has established himself as one of the most exciting times of the Cultural Nogalte programming, as higher recall part of his personal history lived in Puerto Lumbreras.
The municipality held tomorrow July 7 Independence Day with the Institutional Act to be held at 22.00 hours and the distinctions to be delivered to acknowledge the work of lumbrerenses and institutions that have contributed with their commitment and work, the progress of the municipality.
This year, in which celebrated 51 years since Puerto Lumbreras was incorporated as a town hall Independent acts will also feature a concert by the Municipal Band.
