The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras presented at the next plenary session a motion asking the Government Delegation in the Region of Murcia opening a Post Office in the parish of The Season-The Esparragal.
"From the city of Puerto Lumbreras turn to ask the Government Office to open a new Post Office in the parish of The Season-The Esparragal.
It is the duty of all governments to provide the residents of this hamlet of a wide range of future services and quality, "said the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez.
Season-The Puerto Lumbreras Esparragal actually constitutes the core of rural population's largest municipality with over 3,000 inhabitants.
In the hamlet are located more than one hundred companies, among which agriculture cooperatives, consulting companies and companies related to agriculture and livestock.
The new Post Office would carry out routine procedures and transportation of documents and parcels without the need for the citizens of El Esparragal have to travel to town to perform any action in the Post Office, since the current Puerto Lumbreras office is located 10 kilometers from the rural center of the hamlet.
In this sense, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, added that "the residents of The Season-The Esparragal and enjoy new services such as municipal buildings, new sports facilities, library or stop service.
The opening of a new Post Office would make the district of one of the most widely used public services for citizens "
This is the second time in requesting the opening of this new service in this hamlet lumbrerense, as in September last year was approved unanimously at the plenary session of the City Council a proposal by the mayor with the same request.
