The director of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, Veronica Lopez, accompanied by the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, visited this morning, thirty-five young people who participate in summer camp organized by the Federation Murcia Association of People with Physical and Organic Famdif / Cocemfe, together with the association Auxilia-Murcia.
This camp, which will run from 19 to 24 July, aims to integrate people with physical disabilities through conducting various creative activities, recreational, cultural and sporting activities.
For five days, young people with and without physical disabilities lived with a view to enhancing relationship skills, experience new experiences, greater autonomy and new knowledge.
To this end, workshops have been organized drama and art on t-shirts and fans, among other activities.
In addition participants will be staying at the hostel Cabezo de la Jara in Puerto Lumbreras, will have the opportunity to live in a place other than their usual residence and outside their family.
