The improvement actions are implemented in an area of 1,286 linear feet of roadway and sidewalk
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has begun the refurbishment and upgrading of rural streets of the El Esparragal with an investment of 480,475 euros.
The actions provide for the renewal of telephony infrastructure, lighting, new water supply systems and sanitation as well as the inclusion of a rainwater collection system to promote water reuse.
"The actions will cover the improvement and adjustment of virtually every street in the rural town of El Esparragal, thereby benefiting more than 3,000 citizens and over 100 companies that houses the parish," said Councilman Works, Eliseo Sánchez.
During the second phase of action, the works include the construction of new sidewalks, new roads, and the refurbishment and upgrading of existing road through new paving.
In addition, the actions include new road signs on all streets.
Among the streets that are doing the work, highlight the Ebro River Street, Rio Tajo, Rio Duero, Guadalquivir River or up the street.
Thus, the actions will be applied to a surface of 1,286 linear meters of road and sidewalk.
In this sense, Councilman Works, Eliseo Sanchez, stated that "the improvement of more than one km of road and sidewalk, and inclusion of new infrastructure, will provide the best service in communications and electricity supply also substantially improve the water supply. "
