The works are being carried out through an investment of 133,632 euros
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Public Spaces, has begun work on expanding and improving the Municipal Cemetery with the construction of new niches funeral and the refurbishment of the exterior.
With this performance, with an investment of 133,632 euros, will build two new pavilions, including a total of 382 burial niches.
"Through these works will be adapted and expanded the infrastructure of the Municipal Cemetery, and also improve the services offered by this public space for citizens, meeting their needs without there being any kind of saturation in the service," said Councilman Public spaces, Juan Ramón Cayuela.
The first of the funeral hall has an area of 196.96 meters and 251 square niches, while the other includes 132 new niches spread over an area of 104.54 meters square.
On the other hand, the works include the adequacy of the outside of the cemetery through the addition of new paving and construction of new sidewalks.
