The hamlet of Gonare lumbrerense celebrated during this weekend festival of the patron, in honor of the Virgen del Carmen.

One of the strengths of these parties were the religious ceremonies in honor of the patron, as the traditional procession that was held yesterday, attended by over 200 people.

The festivities will end tonight at 24.00 hours with the traditional fireworks.

The peculiarity of these festivals is that they are in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, but are delayed until 14 and August 15 because in the past on July 16, families would harvest and could not be at parties.
