Through this application, the session aims to optimize and improve public safety with the expansion of the staff of the Guardia Civil and the creation of a parking Brigade to coordinate the services provided by the security police in the town
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras propose at the next full City an application urging the Ministry of Interior to create a space for Position Brigade of the Civil Guard in order to improve coordination of law enforcement in the municipality.
"Increased public safety and improve the services offered by the security forces have become a priority for Puerto Lumbreras. From the session we propose the creation of a post of Brigade in the town to coordinate and optimize the performance of security services offered by the Guardia Civil in the town, "said the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez.
Currently, the Civil Guard barracks in Puerto Lumbreras is in extension and renovation works, and it is likely that when they finish the current template has to be enlarged, because since the council has repeatedly asked the Government Delegation expanding the staff of the Guardia Civil in the municipality.
Currently, the template has 11 agents, and Sergeant First is that performs the functions to be addressed by a Civil Guard brigade taking into account the considerable increase in population the city has developed in recent years.
