Councillor for Education, Culture and Celebrations, and the councilman of Youth have presented the first edition of 'We're from here' to be held next Friday
Puerto Lumbreras will host on October 2 from 22:00 Festival 'We are from here', included in the agenda of the Festivities that take place between 1 and 7 October.
Councillor for Culture and Celebrations, Isabel García, and the councilman of Youth, Carrasco Mariano Carrasco presented the first edition of this festival will feature many local bands and artists lumbrerenses the world of painting and photography.
The presentation of the cultural event was also attended by the organizers, Iván García, Angel Aviles and David Sanchez, along with some of the artists participating.
"The festival 'We are from here' is framed within the program of the festivity that will begin next week, with the aim of providing a new artistic initiative that includes music, painting and photography.
The meeting, which aims to encourage youth participation in Puerto Lumbreras, will feature concerts of various bands of the municipality, "said the Councillor for Culture and Celebrations, Isabel García.
From 22.00 pm, the Festival will feature four hours of local music.
Among the musical groups on stage will enable the Youth Zone of the festivity, highlighted the artist lumbrerense Miriam Garcia, who act with a new style through Bowles Mint, the metal group Funky Banana, rappers UnoPuntoTres of also part of the festival organizers as well as two new groups of pop-rock lumbrerenses, Zeda El Paso and The Hidden.
In this sense, the councilman of Youth, Mariano Carrasco, added that "this first edition of the festival will mix musical styles as pop, rock, funk and even rap.
The arts initiative was established as one of the novelties in this edition of the festivity, and is expected to be enshrined as one of the annual meetings of our holidays. "
In addition to music, 'We're From Here "will include artistic representations of lumbrerenses painters, from the veteran Damian, until the youngest Ana Gabarrón.
Also highlight the photography mode Nelia hand Artero and Mayte Lopez, who will show the daily life of the Patron Saints and the Festival through screens.
Finally, the Festival will feature a performance by Ria Pita Dance Association, an organization born in Puerto Lumbreras in order to promote the culture of flamenco dance through educational activities and cultural performances that take on a higher level every year.
