The staff of the local police in Puerto Lumbreras was held this morning on the day of their patron to celebrate the Feast of the Holy Archangels San Miguel, San Gabriel and San Rafael.

Currently, the municipality has a staff of 24 officers, nine of which are attached to the Public Safety Unit of the Regional Plan, a figure which is more than double the staff it had in early 2000.
In addition, three new agents exceeded the selection tests earlier this year.
