The Fair, to be installed in the central Avenida Pedro García Rubio, offer products at low cost with various promotions and discounts.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and the Confederation of Employers of Puerto Lumbreras (ASEPLU), have organized the first Fair Trade Outlet 'The Cost', which will run the next 23, 24 and 25 October in the municipality.
Councilman Business and Industry, Ginés David Piñero, and ASEPLU president, Francisco Sosa, presented this morning the initiative, which originated with the aim of promoting business and trade in the municipality.
"This first edition of the Fair Trade 'The Cost' is framed in the Corporate Campaign to urge the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras to promote measures to encourage business development in the municipality.
Specifically, this show comes with a dual purpose, providing the consumer products at low cost, high quality, and secondly to promote and boost local trade in Puerto Lumbreras, "said Councilman Business and Industry, David Ginés Piñero.
The First Edition of the Fair Trade Outlet, to be held in the central Avenida Pedro García Rubio, will involve more than a dozen local businesses in various sectors such as textiles, accessories, footwear, furniture or decoration.
It is also envisaged the participation of companies from other sectors such as food or flowers.
During the presentation, the president of ASEPLU, Francisco Sosa, stressed that the Fair "will serve as a meeting point for retailers lumbrerenses, since all the local companies have had the opportunity to enroll in this business venture."
In addition, Sosa added that "the initiative will also serve to dispose of stocks of participating merchants, as they are subject to continuous changes in fashions and trends."
After the opening on Friday, October 23 at 17.00, the Fair Trade Outlet in Puerto Lumbreras will remain open throughout the weekend open continuously from 10.00 to 21.00.
