The French Quarter, a growing area of Puerto Lumbreras, has today a new primary care clinic that is designed to serve a population of 2,500 people.
The Minister of Health, María Ángeles Palacios, and the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, today opened its facilities, which have invested more than EUR 245,700, of which 165,000 are provided by the Ministry.
The clinic, a plant, has 177 sq meters distributed in three visits, family medicine, pediatrics, and nursing and cures, besides having administrative area and general services.
The new units also have data network throughout the building, which enables the use of computerized medical record, and its connection with other healthcare facilities.
