The Government Office has informed this morning that took place in the Tourism Office of Puerto Lumbreras, a new meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the Promotion Plan of the Tourism Product of Nogalte Medina.

The Plan to Promote Tourism Product Nogalte Medina has an overall budget of the Plan is 3.3 million euros, of which the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce provides an amount of one million one hundred thousand euros through three annual : 2008, 2009 and 2010.
The Plan considers Puerto Lumbreras as an emerging tourist destination in the Murcia regional outlook, recognizes character Portal of the Region will develop towards greater complementarity with consolidated coastal destinations and greater competitiveness with emerging tourist areas, indoor and cultural.
En consecuencia, el objetivo fundamental del Plan de Dinamización del Producto Turístico Medina-Nogalte consiste en la planificación de un conjunto integrado y coherente de actuaciones en materia de infraestructuras y equipamiento turísticos, especialmente en relación con la puesta en valor del cerro del Castillo de Nogalte en Puerto Lumbreras.
