The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras support a motion proposed by the United Left to support the demonstration of December 12 to protest the situation of the Spanish economy.
The session approved the motion at the last plenary session, to which is attached to the rally called by trade unions UGT and CCOO, under the motto "To not take advantage of the crisis."

The demonstration, aimed at workers across the country, has twelve reasons for mobilization, among which the request to the central government of new public investment programs for infrastructure, transport and schools and health.
In addition, improvements are sought in the education system, with special emphasis on vocational training.

"
Among the arguments and requests of the manifestation of December 12, also emphasizes the need to unlock the collective bargaining through the resumption of dialogue, creating a tax system more equitable, progressive and adequate, and to encourage and ensure credit families and businesses.
Protesters also seek energy policies on the basis of sufficiency, savings and sustainability as well as the strengthening of social protection.
