The town of Puerto Lumbreras hosted the opening night of Bethlehem City, which this year for the first time it has been installed in Plaza Juan Pablo II, opposite the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary.
More than a hundred lumbrerenses attended the event, which also was attended by the Mayor of the municipality, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, along with several members of the local government team.
The opening ceremony also featured the performances of the Group of Songs and Dances 'Virgen del Rosario' and the crew of The Esparragal who played many traditional carols and Easter Attendees were able to enjoy traditional Christmas sweets typical of the holiday season and processed local bakers.
