The directors of Universities and Research Company, Salvador Marin, Education, Training and Employment, Sotoca Constantine, opened today with the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, the business incubator of the town, which was created to promote development economic activity through the creation and development of innovative and quality jobs.
This nursery facilities have seven modules of different sizes distributed in more than 500 square meters, completed two offices for local and regional partnerships related to entrepreneurship, as well as an auditorium, a multipurpose room with three classrooms and a meeting room that can be used by companies and groups from the center.
Investment in the building, located in the industrial area of Puerto Lumbreras, worth over 424,000 euros, of which the Autonomous Region accounted for almost 350,000 euros, and the rest the council itself.
This action is part of the Murcia Region Emprendemos Plan, which aims to promote entrepreneurship and increase survival rates by strengthening infrastructure to support entrepreneurs and the design and implementation of new services for business initiatives.
In fact, any area may request a project leader for the creation of enterprises or start-ups, for a maximum stay of three years.
The nursery is designed as a meeting place for businessmen and entrepreneurs, so they can share experiences and become the channel of communication for detecting and exploiting new business opportunities in the municipality.
