The councilman of Youth and Sports, Mariano Carrasco, and the president of Club Deportivo Lumbreras, Juan Martínez González, this morning signed the agreement.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has signed a partnership agreement with Club Deportivo Lumbreras for Soccer Field management and implementation of sports activities in the municipality.
Councillor for Youth and Sports, Mariano Carrasco, and the president of Club Deportivo Lumbreras, Juan Martínez González, have been responsible for this morning to formalize the cooperation agreement.
According to the councilman, Mariano Carrasco, "Through this agreement, the Club Deportivo Lumbreras promote the promotion of sports activities related to football in the town.
In addition, the agreement will help manage the infrastructures of the football field, and promote training activities at the local level. "
Specifically, through this agreement, the municipality granted 36,000 euros to the club for the management of municipal football field, and the organization of the participation of federal teams in the Club.
On the other hand, Lumbreras Sports Club will launch educational activities for citizens, and specific sports coaches.
In this sense, the club president, Juan Martínez González, thanked the cooperation of the consistory, and that "thanks to this agreement, the Club continues to develop activities and enhancing the education of more than 150 children in the local sports."
LUMBRERAS SPORTS CLUB
Lumbreras Sports Club has a total of 170 students, divided into 6 categories in which it competes.
Currently the club competes in category Benjamin, juvenile, infant and Cadets, all in first class regional, while the junior team competes in regional and second-class senior team in third division.
On the other hand, the club is for students participating in interschool competitions.
In recent years, the Club Deportivo Lumbreras has a firm commitment basis, with special attention to the smallest to acquire healthy habits related to soccer practice.
The Club has 15 coaches and a coordinator of football, and in collaboration with the Department of Youth and Sports courses are organized National Football Monitor to train local coaches.
