Puerto Lumbreras has welcomed this morning the first working meeting of the European project with members of the 'Association Planets', formed by members of the Belgian association of training and employment 'Le Forem' and the German 'Grumel'.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Local Development Centre, participates in the European Lifelong Learning Programme Leonardo Da Vinci created by the European Union to promote a common space in education and training.
The town participates in this project through PLANETS Association, formed by members of the three participating countries to promote the exchange of information and experiences related to Development Managers and Technicians Local Job Placement in Europe.
Specifically, the municipality welcomes all week days of work at the Centre for Local Development, with members involved in the project from other European countries such as the Belgian association of training and employment 'Le Forem' and the German 'Grumel' .

Through the 'Association Planets', we work in this European project we are studying the initiatives, projects and working methods of local development agencies of different countries. "
This morning he made the first of the working days in Puerto Lumbreras, and Thursday and Friday will be completed sessions that are addressing various aspects such as training activities offered through the Local Development Centre of Puerto Lumbreras, the connection between businesses and training programs, work practices of students and their social needs.

Through this direct contact, the local Development Centre of the municipality will be adapted to current needs through the implementation of innovative and new practices. "

The overall objective of the Lifelong Learning Programme is to contribute to the development of the knowledge society through education and quality training.
