Through the Days 'Puerto Lumbreras Taste Good', the session enhances the typical cuisine of the town and promotes business establishments and hotels and restaurants lumbrerenses

The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and the Confederation of Employers, ASEPLU, in collaboration with the Centre for Tourism Qualification Murcia, have launched the Gastronomic 'Puerto Lumbreras Taste Good' involving more than a dozen establishments the municipality.

The councilman of Commerce and Tourism, Ginés David Piñero, and President of the Confederation of Employers, ASEPLU, Francisco Sosa, presented the conference to be held every Saturday during the month of March.

In addition, during the presentation, were also representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras.

"More than a dozen bars and restaurants of the town have joined in these gastronomic 'Puerto Lumbreras Taste Good' to promote the traditional cuisine of the municipality.

We seek to promote the activity of the sector of hotels and restaurants, while offering consumers high quality food at a good price, "says the councilman of Commerce and Tourism, David Ginés Piñero.

Specifically, through the Gastronomic 'Puerto Lumbreras Taste Good', will offer facilities for every Saturday of March tasting menu with typical dishes of the municipality and the Region of Murcia.

Among the dishes that include food festivals, barbecue stands cheek, rice and snails, sausages del Puerto, friends with tripping or zarangollo.

Also, the menus include traditional local desserts such as bread or rice pudding calatrava.

In this sense, ASEPLU president, Francisco Sosa, stressed that "with these enhanced gastronomic tradition continued hospitality with which the municipality has had throughout its history, and increase the tourist attraction in lumbrerenses establishments."

Also, since the council has promoted a campaign to promote the conference in the Region of Murcia and in the coastal zone of Andalucía to raise awareness of business establishments and hotels and restaurants in the municipality.

Establishments participating in this edition are Kannada, Rest, My Cortijo, Hotel Riscal, La Posada, Pernías, Aki same, Patagonia, Town Hall, The gas station, Juan and Ana Pedanía Esparragal, and also has activities within days the Parador Nacional de Turismo de Puerto Lumbreras.

Activities 'Gourmet'

In addition to the conference to be held on Saturdays 6, 13, 20 and 27 March, has developed a program of culinary activities to be held throughout the month.
