The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Local Development Centre, has scheduled more than 50 new training courses to enhance training and facilitate access to employment of citizens.
Councillor for Employment and Social Policy, Maria Ánegeles Tunisia, accompanied by the Councillor for Rural Development, José María Parra, has introduced a new range of training planned for the first half of the year.
"The basic objective is to offer training options municipality's citizens to access a job position or to improve your current job.
This year we wanted to expand the training offer and have included a variety of training programs covering all industries, some bidders in the township, "explained the Councillor for Employment and Social Policy, M ª Angeles Tunisia.
'Technical Sales', 'Accounting computer' or 'job search techniques' are some of the courses that includes the training program in 2010.
The course duration is between 10 and 150 hours, and developed at the premises of the Centre for Local Development, in municipality of El Esparragal or in the Youth Space.
New for this edition, the program includes courses divided into areas such as women, new technologies, jobs and businesses, services, sports and agriculture, among others.
In employment and enterprise, the program includes courses such as 'Computer' or 'business ideas', while in services, the municipality has organized courses as "self-loading crane operator ',' construction professional card," or "assembly, use or dismantling of scaffolding. "
In this sense, the Councillor for Employment and Social Policy, M ª Angeles Tunisia, explained that "in all courses, students will learn or improve labor practices, thereby facilitating their integration or job promotion."
On the other hand, in the field of agriculture, the CDL will offer more than a dozen courses, among which are 'Farming', 'animal welfare', 'Pesticide Plant Health', or 'pruning citrus. "

Agriculture and livestock are very important sectors for the town, and these courses will gain skills to take them directly into the working world, "explained Councillor for Rural Development, José María Parra.
