The director of the Institute for Women in the Region of Murcia (iMRM), Teresa Moreno, and the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, today visited the construction of the new business incubator for women that is being built in the town.
The business incubator for women in Puerto Lumbreras will open before the summer, as announced by the mayor of this town during the visit to the construction of facilities that will house the new center, located in the industrial area of town, along Entrepreneurship Center.
The Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration through the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia has contributed 428,000 euros to equip the nursery, which has an area of 790 square feet on two floors.
"This is one of seven sites comprising the Regional Network for Women Viveros, sponsored by the Institute for Women to address information and advice to women entrepreneurs," according to its director, Teresa Moreno.
The Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration through iMRM and European Social Fund has subsidized the construction and equipping of seven business incubators for women in the municipalities of Las Torres de Cotillas, Alhama de Murcia, Commonwealth River Mula (Bull), Torre Pacheco, Puerto Lumbreras, Yecla and Cartagena.
The latter three are under construction.
Likewise, it has launched a Virtual Nursery in www.mujerempleo.es portal, which provides on-line advice to help applicants to launch a business project.
