Puerto Lumbreras has hosted an all day meeting of Christian Youth of Lorca's Pastoral Zone in which they have gathered more than a thousand young people from various municipalities of the Region of Murcia.
The meeting, organized by the Youth Ministry of Lorca in collaboration with the Parish Nuestra Señora Virgen del Rosario of Puerto Lumbreras and the City, has had several activities as a Way of the Cross and Eucharist.
At 11.00 am, began the day with the Via Crucis which has brought the image of Christ of faith from the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, to explore the main town until the Cultural Center.
There, many pastors have presided over the Eucharist, in which was attended by the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, accompanied by members of his administration.
"In addition to promoting Christian values, young people have undertaken various activities of living and have visited the main parts of town," explained the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, who also stressed that "it is a privilege for our city to host such meetings in which more than a thousand young people, and hundreds of lumbrerenses not want to miss the day. "
Finally, young people have visited various parts of town, and after that, there has been the Worship that has put an end to Christian Youth Meeting.
During the day, the band of bugles and drums of Cristo de la Fe has accompanied the Via Crucis, and the Chorus and Dance Group Virgen del Rosario has participated in the Eucharist.
