The Youth Encounter in Puerto Lumbreras organized by the Youth Ministry of Lorca met more than a thousand Catholics on Saturday 13 March.
Under the slogan "Take up your cross and follow me", the journey began about ten o'clock, the reception and preparation of the Via Crucis through the streets of Puerto Lumbreras, spearheaded by the image of the Christ of faith and encouraged by Banda Municipal de horns and drums.

José Antonio Abellán, presided at the Eucharist was held at about one pm at the Civic Center, accompanied by several diocesan priests.
This event was attended by the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, D.
Pedro Antonio Sanchez, who expressed his enthusiasm to welcome so many young people, while promoting Christian values.
