The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through Social Services, in collaboration with the Instituto Murciano Social Action, has developed during the months of February and March, the program "Basic Training for the social integration of people facing exclusion."
This morning has been closed at the Cultural Center program, in which social skills have worked more than fifteen students.
According to the Councillor for Employment and Social Policy, M ª Angeles Tunisia, "during these two months we have worked in various areas to give students basic personal resources that enhance their confidence and motivation."
Specifically, the training program has received 100 hours distributed during the months of February and March.
The course, aimed at people with poor social skills and low educational levels, has offered an educational effort to improve oral and written expression, reading, and also acquire basic knowledge in various lessons.
In this sense, the Councillor for Social Policy and Employment, M ª Angeles Tunisia, explained that "the training program has received theoretical lectures, but at the same time, this edition has incorporated practical strategies to improve stability and promoting students' personal ".
The methodology of this project was purely participatory, and the program has been taught by qualified composed of a psychologist and a counselor, both of the Association for Promoting Social Development and who have given personal attention to students.
