The town of Puerto Lumbreras brought together nearly 300 athletes this morning in the March issue of V Mountain Bike 'Tour de Puerto Lumbreras'.
The competition, which was organized as each year by the Club MTB 'Cabezo the jara', in collaboration with the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, has received around 75 miles consisting of boulevards, lanes and paths in the natural park municipality.
After the test, the participants have eaten a giant paella in a tent located in the municipal sports complex which also has drawn sports equipment.
This year the competition has been divided into categories junior, senior, master 30, master 40, and female veterans.
The top three of each have been awarded a trophy.
It has also made special mention to the rider lumbrerense José Miguel Pérez Martínez.
In the overall standings Manuel Martínez has won a first place followed by John Smith and Daniel Sanchez.
On the other hand, categorization, Juan Jose Martinez has been a leader in junior, while Antonia Fernandez has been the first in the classification of the women.
On the other hand, Joaquín Muñoz was awarded first place in the senior category, Juan Perez in master 30, Master Manuel Martinez Martinez Salvador 40 and Veterans.
