The Lifesaving Federation of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, has organized a training program for lifeguards taught at the sports complex of the municipality.
The course, which started this week, has more than twenty students enrolled and will take place during the months of April and May.
In addition, the program combines theoretical teaching practices in the municipal swimming pools.
The councilman of Youth and Sports, Mariano Carrasco, said that "from the session we considered the implementation of this type of training programs that promote job placement and development of sport in the town."
