The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has organized a program of activities to commemorate the International Day of Dance to be held tomorrow Thursday 29 April.
The initiative, organized by the Department of Education, Culture and Celebrations, in collaboration with all dance associations of the municipality, will have several free dance workshops for all citizens and a parade through the main streets of town.
According to the Councillor for Education, Culture and Celebrations, Isabel García, "this is the first year that Puerto Lumbreras held a big International Day of Dance.
The four associations and dance schools in the municipality and the city have worked together to provide citizens with alternative leisure activities and serve to celebrate this day. "
Specifically, the local associations are organized and involved in the initiative include Ria Pita Association in collaboration with Nuria Periago, Songs and Dances Virgen del Rosario, Peña de Carnaval Amazonia and Piqué Dance Studio.

In this sense, the Councillor for Education, Culture and Celebrations, Isabel García, has invited all citizens to attend and participate in this initiative which aims to promote dance in the town and make a small recognition of all the associations and academies to promote dance culture in Puerto Lumbreras.
